THE POTENTIAL OF THE SPORT
Inline hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in Alberta, second only to soccer. Over the past couple of years the number of players has risen drastically, and is still on the move. We at Extreme Inline feel that if marketed, and set up in our mannor, inline hockey will become the largest sport in western Canada during the summer months. We feel that presenting teams, and players, in a professional mannor, with pro series uniforms and a certain level of media attention will thrust Canada into the upper level of potential for this great sport. |

WHAT IT CAN DO
Alberta is one of the most dominating Inline provinces in Canada when it comes to the talent pool. Although inline hockey is generally set up in a non-competitive fashion, that is built solely on the idea of having fun, the Extreme Inline staff feel that top level players dont get the recognition they deserve. In Alberta, the only real way for top level inliners to get noticed is through provincial or national teams. Every year, many high calibre players dont bother, or feel no need to try out for these "Rep" teams. At Extreme Inline, we recognize this trend, and feel that with our ideas, these players will be noticed by teams/scouts. We feel this is possible, without giving up the idea of fun within the sport, all it takes is effort on our part.
"MARKETING" OUR PLAYERS
At Extreme Inline, every one of our players would be "marketed" in a manor that would open up their play to scouts and teams. In the U.S, inline hockey is taken as a high level sport, with college and junior teams performing on a regular basis. We would make much effort to draw in scouts for tournaments, playoffs, and even league games to catch a glimpse of our talent pool, without the players having to join travel teams.
